Hi there, and welcome. Let’s find a comfortable position, and just allow your body to relax. Gently, whenever you’re ready, close your eyes.
Let’s begin by taking a deep, flowing breath in through your nose, and a slow, steady breath out. Again, breathe in and breathe out. Do a few on your own.
Now imagine that you are a river. The water is constantly flowing—changing, adapting to the land around it. It doesn’t resist a curve in the path, it simply flows with it. Feel your breath flowing like the water, constantly changing direction and adapting.
Today we’re going to embrace the reality of change. Life is not stagnant. It’s in constant motion, just like a river. So often we resist change, wanting things to stay the same—but fighting the current only makes us tired.
I invite you to think of a change in your life right now, big or small. Instead of resisting it, can you bring a sense of curiosity to it?
As you breathe in, acknowledge the change.
As you breathe out, release any resistance you feel.
Just as the river flows, you too can flow with the changes in your life. You have the resilience and strength to adapt. Feel the power of the current of life.
You are not a helpless leaf on the water. You are the water itself. You have the ability to move with the flow and find your path.
Take a final deep breath. And as you exhale, gently bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Whenever you’re ready, slowly open your eyes and carry the sense of flow with you throughout your day.
