Welcome. Find a comfortable position and settle in. Allow your body to feel soft and supported. Take a moment to gently close your eyes and lower your gaze.

Let’s start by bringing our awareness to the breath. There’s no need to control it or change it. Simply notice its natural rhythm. Breathe in, breathe out. Feel the breath moving through you on its own. It doesn’t need your direction. It knows what to do.

Take a moment to feel your belly gently expand on the inhale and soften on the exhale. There is a natural wisdom and flow here.

Today we’re going to focus on releasing the need to control. Often, our stress comes from trying to hold on too tightly—whether to outcomes, to people, or to our schedules.

I invite you to imagine you’re holding something very tightly in your hand. Perhaps it’s a worry, a deadline, or a difficult conversation. Feel the tension in your fist.

Now, slowly, gently, begin to open your fingers. There’s no rush. Just release your grip. As you exhale, feel your hands soften. Inhale the feeling of spaciousness, and as you exhale, release the need to control.

Know that just as your breath knows how to flow, so do the events of your life. You can’t control the wind, but you can adjust your sails.

Allow this feeling of letting go to settle in your body. Notice the lightness that comes with releasing the burden. You’re not giving up—you’re simply trusting in the process of life.

Take one more deep breath, breathing in a sense of freedom. As you exhale, gently bring your awareness back to the room.

When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes and carry this sense of relief with you throughout the day.
